THE rising stars of the York & District Senior Cricket League are aiming for back-to-back Joe Lumb triumphs.
The York youngsters clinched the Joe Lumb Under-17s crown last season for only the second time in the competition’s 49-year history.
In the last eight years, the Senior League side have won the competition once and finished as runners-up twice.
Tomorrow, they are bidding to book their place in the final as they host Barnsley at Clifton Alliance CC in Shipton Road.
The team are led by prolific Selby all-rounder Tom Collins.
Squad: T Collins, D Barrett, K Carver, C Elliott, O Gilbank, M Hattee, L Ramsay, R Partington, O Sherwood, A Simpson, A Wilson.
The squad will meet at the ground at noon, with the match starting at 1pm.
