NORTH Cave beat Barmby on the Marsh by 81 runs in the Triad Howden Evening League Junior Mortimer Cup to seal a knockout double.
Cave, who also won the York Vale League’s HPH Cup, batted first after losing the toss and totalled 158-4 from 20 overs.
The top run-scorers were Rhys Duerden (34), Mark Woodall (53) and James Ferguson (48no).
Barmby on the Marsh started well but man of the match Rob Page took 5-5 from five overs and Chris Short claimed 3-15 as they were all out for 77.
League president Nobby Clark presented the trophy to Cave captain Page.
