TWO teenagers arrested in connection with an assault on a schoolboy have been rebailed by police.
A 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were arrested by police investigating an attack on 15-year-old Aaron Richardson at the entrance to a travelling fair at the Knavesmire on the evening of September 17. The York High School pupil suffered serious head injuries in the attack and is said by police to be in an artificially induced coma at Leeds General Infirmary.
The two teenagers have answered bail and been rebailed pending further inquiries, a police spokesman said. Police say Aaron remained in a critical condition and in a coma.
