A TEENAGER has been attacked in York after she was stopped by two men on bikes.
The 19-year-old woman was walking along Carr Lane in Acomb, towards the Ainsty pub, when the attack happened at 12.20am on Saturday.
Police say she had just passed the rise in the road when she was approached by two men on silver BMX-style bikes who demanded property/cash from her.
The victim was then assaulted by both males, who fled empty-handed. The woman suffered a minor face injury but did not need medical attention.
Both men are described as being white and in their early 20s. The first was about 5ft 4ins, slim, with stubble and a deep rough voice. He was wearing a black jumper with the hood up and dark trousers.
The second is described as 5ft and of stocky build, with stubble and two shaved lines in one eyebrow. He was wearing a dark blue jumper with four thick white vertical stripes four horizontal stripes.
