MEMBERS of the the 1st Huntington Scout brass band will be performing as the Olympic torch arrives in York.
And the band’s 20 members, who range in age from ten to over 60, want more acts, entertainers, individuals and groups to volunteer to join them on June 19. The acts will entertain the crowds as they wait for the torch to arrive.
Councillor Sonja Crisp, said: “With one of the world’s most beautiful cities in the world as a backdrop, this is a fantastic opportunity for our talented residents to share the Olympic spirit of celebration and endeavour by giving the torch a welcome to remember.”
