A CRUCIAL meeting over the future of a York nightclub has been pencilled in for the middle of April.
City of York Council was originally due to hold a licensing review into The Gallery, in Clifford Street, earlier this month after cheap drinks promotions led to a 1,050 per cent rise in crime linked to the venue.
It was postponed to allow the club’s new owners, Ranimul 2 Limited, the chance to make improvements and assess a log of incidents collated by the council and North Yorkshire Police.
A fresh date for the review has now been set for April 16.
