COMPUTER science researchers from around the UK are to address a conference at the University of York.
The BCS Academy of Computing Symposium, in association with the UK Computing Research Committee, will see researchers talking about research challenges, policy and strategy. Speakers will include Professor Steve Furber, of the University of Manchester, who will discuss building computer models of the brain. The conference will be held in the Ron Cooke Hub at Heslington East, and will be hosted by Professor John McDermid, Head of the Department of Computer Science.
The conference runs from April 10 to 12.
