YOUNG York musicians are practising for the performance of their lives as they prepare to play for the Queen.
The York Arts Academy string quartet will play for the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice of York and special guests during lunch at the Mansion House tomorrow.
The members of the quartet, who are aged between 14 and 16 years old, play with the York Arts Academy, an enterprise which offers young people the chance to join musical groups.
