London is not the only place to have a street parade during the Diamond Jubilee weekend.
It will be carnival time in North and East Yorkshire.
The large scale celebrations on the streets notified so far to The Press are:
• Friday June 1 to Tuesday June 4: Riccall: Carnival.
Saturday, June 2: Strensall: Parade from Robert Wilkinson Primary School to the Village Hall.
Sunday, June 3: Stamford Bridge, parade followed by church service.
Tadcaster, street parade and carnival with the crowning of the Carnival Queen.
Monday, June 4: Skelton: parade.
Tuesday, June 5: Thirsk: parade
