Eleven employees at Persimmon Homes Yorkshire are gearing up to take on a wheelie tough charity challenge – cycling 140 miles in three days.
They will be tackling the coast-to-coast route from Whitehaven on the coast of Cumbria to Sunderland to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice in York. Team co-ordinator Simon Winship, said the group included a wide range of ages, professions and abilities.
Preparing for their mammoth ride are Paul Saunders, Steve Holmes, Jon Birkin, Paul Fairlamb, Richard Hosie, Lee Kilby, Simon Winship, Ian Wilson, Cate Palmer and Persimmon Homes Yorkshire managing director Andrew Bowes
