CHILDREN at a York pre-school dressed in fancy dress for a fundraising Jubilee event.
The children from Heslington Pre-School went to the party at the Black Bull in Hull Road, where there was a magician, games and a performance from the Grand Old Uke of York.
Katie Liddle, committee secretary, said: “Everybody had a fantastic time. We wanted to do something to mark the Diamond Jubilee and to raise money for the pre-school because we have found that with the funding cuts, we are really struggling this year.”
