Skelton Diamond Jubilee Gala takes place on Monday, starting at 1.15pm with a Gala Parade.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Marching Pipe and Drum Band will lead a procession from the village hall via Brecksfield loop.
Everyone is invited to join, and those who are wearing fancy dress or have decorated their bikes, prams or any suitable wheels are especially welcome.
The gala opens at 2pm, there will be an entertainment extravaganza, crafts, a bouncy castle, a falconry display, a Japanese drumming band, a climbing wall, jugglers, a tug of war, a memorabilia tent and more.
There will also be food tents offering a range of hot and cold food plus an all day and night licensed bar.
From 7pm until 10.30pm the popular York party band Blue Phunk will be performing and there will also be a hog roast supper. Admission will be free.
