SHE’S the queen of smiles and has the crown to prove it – Gabriella Hudson models the royal headwear that won her a prize at the Big Blue House Nursery Jubilee Party.

The 15-month-old toddler was one of 45 children aged from six months to four years who made their own crowns before celebrating amid the bunting they had designed and made themselves. Six children from three age groups won prizes.

Jane Mann, of the Stamford Bridge nursery, said: “They had an absolute whale of a time.”

The children had also made their own flags during a week of lessons and games about the role of the Queen.
