DO you remember the families of vanished Union Terrace, pictured here during George V’s Silver Jubilee in 1935?
Among the seated children is Dolly Ruddock, who passed the photo down to her daughter, Coun Barbara Boyce.
“I would love to hear more about these people and their lives. Family is all about community,” Coun Boyce said.
The Ruddocks lived at No 56 and No 70, the Naylors lived at No 5, and No 1 or No 2 was the home of photographer Mrs Hanstock.
The children generally went to St Thomas’s School and many parents worked at Rowntrees Chocolate Factory.
