A TEENAGER from York has been told he could go to jail after burgling a flat above a restaurant at a service station.
At York Crown Court yesterday William Holliday pleaded guilty to trespassing in private premises above Tritons fish restaurant, at Bilbrough Top services on August 6 last year.
The 18-year-old, of Bellhouse Way, York, admitted stealing clothing, keys and three mobile phones in the raid.
The case had been adjourned for sentence until later this year.
Recorder David Bradshaw told Holliday: “You have pleaded guilty to a serious offence. All options remain including immediate custody.”
Holliday will next appear before court on October 2.
