POLICE in East Yorkshire have sent out an appeal for businesses who believe they have been given fake money to come forward after two men were arrested on suspicion of using counterfeit cash.
Officers were called to a store in Harbour Road, Bridlington, last Sunday after reports of two men trying to buy items with a fraudulent £20 note. After a search of the area, two men, aged 35 and 22, were arrested and have since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Anybody with information which can help the investigation should phone Humberside Police on 101.
