Selby, still unbeaten in division one of York Amateur Bowling Association, stay top of the table after main rivals Railway Amateurs went down 6-2 to RI Corinthians.

Holgate WMC are the only club within striking distance of these two with only one defeat out of five.

West Park beat Nestlé Rowntree 6½-1½ to replace them at the top of division two, with undefeated Hull Road Park taking second spot only 1½ points behind with a game in hand.

Early leaders Bootham have lost ground after three defeats in four games.

Clifton lead division three but undefeated Copmanthorpe have two games in hand and are only seven points behind.

Hull Road Park continued their good league form to provide the surprise of round one in the Williamson Cup with an 88-74 defeat of Haxby Road, a strong first division side.
