WHITWELL-ON-THE-HILL'S Terry Temple has been drawn against Premier League runner-up Simon Whitlock in tonight's UK Open third round at Bolton.
Temple earned a meeting with world number six and two-time World Championship finalist Whitlock after defeating Steve Hine in last night's second round.
World number 59 Hine, known as "The Muffin Man", was outclassed by Temple, who enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win.
The North Yorkshireman had earlier overcome one-time World Matchplay quarter-finalist Matt Clark 4-2 in a high-quality encounter before cruising past Speedy Services qualifier Mark Kelly to make the last 64.
Temple's match against Whitlock is scheduled to be the third game on board eight this evening.
Tonight's action will be televised live on Sky Sports.
