A FUNDRAISING auction is taking place on Saturday at a Sheriff Hutton pub in aid of the Jamie Inglis appeal.
Jamie, six, needs expensive treatment in Germany to help prevent an aggressive form of childhood tumour from returning.
His family was recently given the go-ahead by doctors for Jamie to undergo the treatment in Germany they but must find the £250,000 to pay for it.
Saturday’s event is hosted by professional Harome-based auctioneer Michael Harrison, and the entertainment will also feature a bucking bronco as well as firemen undergoing a sponsored wax.
Lots up for auction tonight at the Highwayman Inn include passes to Vue Cinema in York, a 12-year-old bottle of Scotch whisky and the services of a gardener for two days.
Jamie has donated two paintings, created by him, to the auction.
The event begins at 7pm with the auction starting from 8.30pm.
