TREBLE-CHASING York Acorn Under-18s will finally get the chance to lift their third trophy of the season tomorrow.
The young Blue and Golds have won the division one title and division one topfour play-offs in the Yorkshire Youth League, but they have had to wait several weeks to play their final match of the season – the League Cup final against premier division outfit Shaw Cross. Weather permitting, it is set to go ahead tomorrow, at Normanton, kick off 1pm.
Several players have been keeping match-fit by playing in Acorn’s open-age ranks or for York City Knights U18s.
