A TEENAGER from York is on her way to achieving her dream of becoming a model after winning a place in the semi-final of Miss Teen Great Britain 2012.
Ashleigh Crosby, 14, of St Luke’s Grove in Clifton, has beaten off competition from across the country and is “delighted” to have got this far. The teenager, a pupil at Manor CE School, hopes to become a model when she is older and is competing to be crowned Miss Teen Great Britain with the possibility of winning a host of prizes including £1,000.
She said: “Making it to the grand final would be a dream come true – fingers crossed I will be able to represent my hometown and win the Miss Teen Great Britain crown. it will be an amazing opportunity.”
The grand final of Miss Teen Great Britain will be held in September 2012 at The Globe in Blackpool.
