“SEX attacker jailed for life” said the headline (The Press, June 6).
This depraved individual, with a history of child abuse and rape, was convicted of a harrowing and degrading sex attack on a complete stranger.
Look into the fine detail of the judgement, and this paedophile and rapist could, on the recommendation of the judge, be back out on the streets in five years and seven months.
When will our judiciary pass sentences that reflect the severity of the crime?
