ONE person suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash which led to part of the A64 near York being closed yesterday.
The collision happened on the westbound carriageway between Copmanthorpe and Bilbrough at about 2.15pm and involved a Volkswagen Polo, which landed on its roof, and a Renault Twingo.
Paramedics were called to the scene and treated one person for slight injuries. The lane reopened at about 3.30pm after the damaged vehicles were removed from the scene.
Meanwhile, a woman who was injured after a car, a lorry and a bus carrying schoolchildren crashed near the Hopgrove roundabout on the A64 on Monday has been released from hospital after suffering cuts and bruises.
