IF you're going to be a musical magpie, then you may as well steal from the best. In their quest for world domination, Australian rock four-piece Jet leave nothing to chance.
While their four-million selling debut Get Born was heavily indebted to Exile On Main Street-era Rolling Stones, they cast their nets wider this time.
Oasis, The Beatles and The Beach Boys are three of the bands plundered from over the 14 tracks. Helped by the gravel-truck vocals of Nic Cester, Jet carry it off.
The punk drum rush of That's All Lies and the sheer aggression of Rip It Up are a joy, while Come On Come On is Noel Gallagher Down Under.
The whooping tearjerker Shine On will be massive - despite the rent-a-choir backing vocals - while the acoustic harmonies on Eleanor are welcome respite from the rock mayhem.
Jet remain master thieves.
