TWO members of Team GB’s Olympic sailing team made a visit to a York school in the hope of inspiring youngsters.
Sisters Lucy and Kate Macgregor headed to St Peter’s School to talk to pupils about their sailing careers, training programme, and ultimate aim of winning gold at the Olympic games this summer.
The pair will make history by becoming the first British sailing sisters to compete together at the same Games. They will sail alongside their other GB team-mate, Annie Lush.
Volvo Car UK organised the visit to celebrate its heritage and legacy in British sailing. Their quest is “to turn the nation into armchair sailing experts”.
