York's 49th community carol concert will take place next month, when choirs from across the city join for some Christmas cheer.
The concert will take place at the Barbican Centre on November 26, with half the proceeds going to The Press Guardian Angels appeal.
The popular annual event will include performances from the Shepherd Building Group Concert Band; St Wilfrid's Junior School Choir; Bootham School Chamber Choir; St Luke's Parish Church Choir; York Colleges' Guild Handbell Ringers; and soloist Jessa Liversidge.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from the Grand Opera House.
Proceeds will be split between our appeal and the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of York's Christmas Cheer Fund.
Our appeal is aiming to raise £300,000 to transform high-dependency care on York Hospital's children's ward.
