ROADSHOWS focusing on ending hate crime against people with learning disabilities will be staged across two North Yorkshire districts next week.
Hambleton and Richmondshire Community Safety Partnership is supporting Learning Disability Week, which runs from June 18 to 24, by promoting hate crime reporting centres and the use of a hotline set up in the areas earlier this year.
The roadshows will run throughout next week at Northallerton and District Volunteer Centre, Great Ayton Library and district council offices in Easingwold, Northallerton, Stokesley, Reeth, Leyburn, Hawes, Richmond and Colburn, as well as at United Response at the Old Boot Shop in Easingwold on June 19 and Richmond Methodist Church between midday and 3pm on June 21.
The hate crime hotline number is 0845 200 2495.
