I HAVE just read the article regarding the metal theft of the exhaust system from the York Against Cancer mini-bus (The Press, June 12).
I cannot believe anyone could stoop so low to commit a crime like this.
I had to use this transport to travel to Leeds and back for treatment in February this year and I would have been lost without it.
Words cannot describe how I feel about this theft.
It truly is despicable and I hope the low-life types who did it, or any of their relatives, never need the this mini-bus to take them for treatment.
If they do, I hope these people take time to reflect on the horrendous thing they have done.
May I just say a big thank you to Wendy and Ian, the drivers of the mini bus; you were wonderful. You must be gutted by all this.
