WE MUST not let the Falkland Islands be given over to Argentina or anyone else.
Even if the British folk living on those islands were willing to cede power and control over to Argentina, the British Government should keep the islands as sovereign British territory.
It is very likely that there is a large stock of oil in that area, and this country needs unrestricted access to it.
At the moment there are international laws preventing any drilling, etc, in that region, but those laws will lapse eventually.
This nation fought a hard and costly war 30 years ago to keep the Falklands. We must not allow all that suffering to be in vain.
Forget about Syria and other “foreign” areas and concentrate solely on looking after ourselves. We have been the world’s nurse and policeman for far too long.
