A 15-year-old boy from Selby was one of 26 people arrested in connection with a massive disorder which caused 61 trains to be delayed and seven to be cancelled.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the youngest of the group of men from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Wakefield, West Yorkshire Police have announced.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said several men, believed to be fans of Huddersfield Town, Bradford City and Leeds United, chased each other from Westgate in Huddersfield, into the town’s railway station, and on to the tracks towards Deighton, following the Championship Play-Off final on Saturday, May 19.
The incident caused hours worth of delays, which British Transport Police said cost the taxpayer thousands of pounds.
