TALENTED junior footballers in the Selby area have the opportunity to impress Leeds United Academy staff during open trials being held at Barlby High School throughout this month.
Barlby Raiders club chairman Paul Atkinson said: “This is a great opportunity for all junior footballers in the Selby area.
“Our coaches have been working with the Leeds United Academy team at Thorp Arch for a number of weeks and we are now ready to see if we can identify a future first team player at Leeds United.”
Terry Potter, of the Leeds United Academy said: “We are delighted to be working with the Barlby Raiders and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
The first sessions took place at Barlby High School this week.
