Copmanthorpe Carnival will be held on Saturday, July 7, from noon to 6pm.
The carnival, at the village’s recreation centre will feature music, dance and entertainment from The Entertainment, The Likely Lads, Davey Richmond’s Black Crows, The King’s Parade, Ali & The Beachcombers, Distracted, York Breakdance among others.
The carnival will also feature fairground rides, birds of prey, a reptile roadshow, donkey rides, a bucking bronco, giant slides, a water walker, a bungee run, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall, a giant assault course, Olympic sport tasters and more.
Refreshments will also be available, including a licensed bar, plus stalls stelling vintage clothes and homewares.
Tickets cost £3 in advance, or £6 on the gate, with admission free for under 14s.
