THE definition of dignity is “true worth/excellence/high estate”. This was certainly not experienced by the Woodcock family on the loss of a family member (The Press, June 22).
The company trading under the name of Rymers has lost theirs. Is it any wonder the Government is re-assessing exam results when a simple addition of approx 300 attendees at a funeral each donating at least £5 per person equals £1,500 and as stated in The Press there were larger donations?
What is the procedure for handling cash donations at funerals? I have already made my decision that a family member will stand at the door of my funeral and collect the donations personally so there will be no “incorrect procedures” by any funeral services.
