SIMON DYSON leaped up the leaderboard at the BMW International Open in Cologne with a closing round of 70.
The York golfer fired five birdies to move into a tie for 15th place, adding his two-under-par fourth round to scores of 68, 70 and 73.
Back-to-back birdies at the first and second holes got the Malton & Norton Golf Club ace off to a flying start.
He dropped a shot at the par-four fifth, but a three at the eighth saw him to the turn in 34 strokes.
His back nine included birdies at the 13th and 16th, with dropped shots at the 14th and 18th.
