A DOZEN banks in the York area today took the unusual step of opening on a Sunday to help Natwest and Royal Bank of Scotland customers affected by the banks' computer problems.
Natwest branches taking party include Pickering, Pocklington, Selby, Tadcaster, York City Centre and University of York campus, Thirsk, Scarborough, Whitby, Ripon, Harrogate and Northallerton.
The Royal Bank of Scotland's York branch is also open.
