THE cream of York’s music scene gathered to play at the 10th anniversary of an annual fundraising festival.
The Jamstock event on Saturday was described by organisers as a “resounding success” and saw almost £300 raised for Cancer Research UK, thanks to raffle prizes donated by local companies.
Bands performing at The Fox pub in Holgate Road, included La Petite Mort, Stone Water, Barcode Zebra and The Arts Barge Ensemble.
The show was organised by The Jam Factory studio in York and the Access To Music initiative, which provides vocational training for those interested in a career in the music business.
Charlie Daykin, of Access to Music, said: “We would like to thank everyone who helped to make the 10th anniversary Jamstock such a resounding success.”
