PUPILS from a York school were treated to a visit from one of their favourite authors this week.
Antonia Crawford donated two copies of her teenage fantasy novel The Titan Prophecy to the Fulford School library as part of National Book Week, and visited the school to share her thoughts on writing.
Rowena White, from the school, said the book had already proved popular with pupils.
She said: “One student gave it 1,000,000 out of ten. The publisher would like to use that quote on future publicity.”
The author is also set to visit other schools in the area, and will appear at Huntington School today, Canon Lee and The Mount schools tomorrow, and Bootham School on Friday.
She will also visit Burnholme Community College, York High School and Archbishop Holgate’s on Tuesday, July 3, and Easingwold School on July 5.
