THE funeral will be held today of a teenager from York, who died after falling from a hotel balcony on his first holiday abroad with friends.
Former Huntington School pupil Iain Knox, 19, died earlier this month in Kavos, a resort on the Greek island of Corfu, where he was on a Club 18-30 holiday. Greek police said there were not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
Mr Knox was understood to have moved from York to Scotland in 2008 but returned to York recently. His funeral is taking place this lunchtime at Clydebank Crematorium in North Dalnottar, Glasgow, followed by burial at North Dalnottar Cemetery . A memorial service to celebrate his life will held in York at a later date.
