THE new deputy principal of Selby College has taken part in a whistle-stop tour and handed out surplus art materials to groups.
Janet Meenaghan and other staff members took part in the Selby College Art Transplant.
Janet said: “The college has always been very proud of the local community and its role within it and I think this was evident in today’s event. It was lovely to get a glimpse of Selby outside the college and to be able to meet some of its residents both young and old. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the event and I hope the materials bring the beneficiaries a great deal of pleasure.”
Janet gave materials to pupils at Barwic Parade Primary, Selby Abbey Primary, Firth House Nursing Home, and Dennison House Nursing Home.
