IT seems neither First Bus nor the council is interested in the number 12 being the worst service in York.
I have contacted all parties concerned, with nothing happening. I have a list of things wrong with this service, buses missed out and always late, etc.
The extension to the service makes it impossible to keep time; I tried it today and it takes an extra 20 minutes.
I had a letter from First Bus on April 12 saying they would improve it but nothing has happened.
I rang the Leeds office and was told it was extended by public demand, but we were not asked at Haxby and Wigginton. Foxwood Lane has more buses than we have.
Also a lot of passengers from Haxby are pensioners and recently have had to stand in the rain while buses are arriving very late or not coming at all and we have to wait up to an hour.
The advert on the buses said that they are the future; not at Haxby unless the old timing is brought back. Come on First Bus, let’s have a decent service on the number 12.
