ARSONISTS who firebombed the home of two York pensioners remain at large, more than three months on.
Police say that despite investigations and a widespread appeal for witnesses, no arrests have yet been made over the incident on March 16.
The couple, aged 78 and 81, were at home in Lucas Avenue in Clifton when a flaming object was thrown through their living room window. Police called the attack “callous and cowardly” and said the victims were deeply distressed. They had lived in the house for nearly 50 years but were forced to move out after the attack.
Anyone with information should phone police on 101.
