WE STILL have places available for the British Heart Foundation’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on July 21 and I would like to call on readers to take part.
It offers the challenge of walking the three highest peaks in the county – Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the Dales – and experiencing some of the UK’s most stunning scenery.
Walkers will be supported with marshals, first aid, recovery vehicles and refreshments to keep them safe, well and motivated as they get their heart pumping and support the nation’s heart charity.
Despite major advances in heart research, education and care, there is still a huge amount to learn, and a lot of work to be done. We urgently need support to help us continue our work in the region.
Register online today at bhf.org.uk/y3p, call freephone 0800 169 3672, or email northwestwales@bhf.org.uk for entry forms.
