POLICE in the East Riding are clamping down on alcohol-related disorderly behaviour by issuing notices temporarily banning people from certain areas.
Section 27 notices allow an officer to direct a person who is being disorderly, or if disorder is likely to occur, away from an area for 24 to 48 hours.
If the notice is breached, the person can be arrested.
