Dunnington were two-run victors at Sheriff Hutton Bridge in the York & District Junior Cricket Association Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under-9s League zone ‘A’.
Jack Wilson, with 19 not out and 1-3, was the main contributor for Dunnington, with Robert Kay (16 and 1-3) leading the Bridge response.
Londesborough Park, Acomb ‘B’ and York are vying for the top two spots in zone ‘B’.
Park beat hosts Selby in a high-scoring encounter, with A Humble (19 and 0-7) B Spruyt (21), T Williamson (0-10) and Zac Robinson (0-19) all contributing to the win.
York stepped up their challenge with a home win over Londesborough Park.
Sam Lonsdale (20no and 2-1) and Jack Davies (13 and 1-1) led the way, with Harvey Gration hitting 12 not out.
