A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a car came off the road and slid down an embankment in East Yorkshire.
The crash happened just after 1.30pm on the outskirts of Bridlington, with the vehicle landing in a field.
Fire crews helped the male driver out of the car and the female passenger was carried out of the vehicle on a spinal board, with the extent of her injuries not yet being known.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
