A BALL has raised more than £7,000 towards a £300,000 drive to refurbish York Hospital’s stroke treatment and rehabilitation unit.
The York Teaching Hospital Charity has launched the Star Appeal with the aim of raising enough money to modernise the facility, and the recently held Star Ball has boosted the total by £7,135.
The charity is hoping to hold an annual ball, and updates on the appeal’s fundraising activity can be found at facebook.com/yorkteachinghospitalcharity
