MEMBERS of a floral organisation in York have recreated a display created to mark a milestone in the city’s history.
Acomb Flower Guild’s special York 800 arrangement was recently shown at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall and was today being given a new home at the Mansion House.
It will be available for viewing by those taking a tour of the house, which is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of York, during Charter Weekend, which runs from Saturday to Monday.
The house is open to the public for tours on Friday and Saturday at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
