Robin Hood and his merry gang of outlaws have taken to the stage at Bootham School Theatre in York.
The musical spectacular by Year 5 and Year 6 pupils at Bootham Junior School marks the end of their academic year.
It has been jointly masterminded by Ray Sturdy, director of music for the junior school, and stage director Clive Marshall, of York Opera fame. Dr Sue Pattison, head teacher, said the show was “a feast of sound and vision”. Dr Pattison said: “The costumes are fabulously colourful, and wicked King John’s throne itself is a spectacle of extravagance.”
The show was staged last night with a final performance tonight, at 6.30pm. For more details, phone 01904 623261.
