Donations are growing on a charity page set up for one of the two York climbers killed in the Alpine avalanche.
Steve Barber, 47, was killed along with John Taylor, 48, when they were hit by a slab avalanche on the Mont Blanc Massif yesterday.
They were climbing to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice in York, and donations have been increasing today on Mr Barber's online charity page.
Mr Barber's long-term partner, Donna Rogers, had set up the page two months ago.

Both men lived in Pear Tree Avenue in Poppleton and had daughters at the local primary school.
