THE search for a missing pensioner Barbara Colling has spread to East Yorkshire.
Humberside Police have joined the appeal to help find the 68-year-old from Helmsley, who has not been seen since 9.30am on January 28, when she was walking from Helmsley towards Stokesley.
She has serious health issues, and officers, search and rescue teams and Helmsley residents have been searching for her.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said they strongly believed Barbara was still in the Helmsley area, but it was possible she had travelled to another area of the country.
Mrs Colling is described as white, 5ft 6in tall with a medium build and medium length blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, blue trousers, a black woollen hat with ear flaps and black boots and is thought to have been carrying a black rucksack.
Anyone who can help should phone police on 101.
